You conjure a vine that sprouts from the ground in an unoccupied space of your choice that you can see within range.
When you cast this spell, you can direct the vine to lash out at a creature within 10m of it that you can see. Make a melee spell attack against a creature within 10m of the vine. On a hit, the target takes 4d8 Blunt damage and is pulled up to 10m toward the vine; if the target is Huge or smaller, it becomes
Until the spell ends, as a Bonus Action on your later turns, you can repeat the attack against a creature within 10m of the vine.
You can use and trigger this spell as a reaction when a Huge or smaller creature or an Object weighing no more than 500kg falls. When you do so, you can command the vine to Grapple it gently, dealing no damage, and pulling it up to 10m toward the vine.
At Higher Levels: The number of creatures the vine can grapple increases by one for each spell slot level above 4.
